1. Wheel of vision Dusseldorf
The first instagram spot in Düsseldorf. A wheel is always interesting for photographers or for a nice portrait with the lights in the background. Of course you get the best effect when it’s dark.

2.Medienhafen (sunrise)
This architectural hotspot is a must visit when you visit Düsseldorf. There are plenty of possibilities to get a nice picture here. The best time is at sunrise, as the light comes from behind the buildings and creates a beautiful golden glow.

3. The intersection of Broadway offices
In the centre of Düsseldorf there are a few older characteristic buildings that give the streetscape extra shape. One example of this is the intersection at the modern Broadway offices where you have a view of the immense Stahlhof.

4. K21 light play
K21 has numerous exhibitions every year, but the building itself is also worth a visit. At the top, the roof was finished with a glass dome reminiscent of a kind of ‘honeycomb’. When the sun shines, the pattern of the dome is projected in a beautiful shadow play which gives an artistic effect.

5. The bank of Oberkasel
Forget the tourist sunset spot Rheintreppe, unless you want to have your picture taken with dozens of other people ;). If you go to the other side of the bank you have a nice (and quiet) view of some famous monuments of the city of Düsseldorf such as the Rheinturm, Rheinkniebrücke and of course the Rhine itself. You can choose to go for a sunrise or sunset, but our personal preference was for sunrise.

6. Pink room in Schloss Benrath
Schloss Benrath is located a little further north from Düsseldorf but is known as the pink castle. There are several rooms that are beautiful to look at, but the ‘pink room’ is the most beautiful in our opinion. Don’t forget that in the castle you have to put on slippers that you can’t take off. This means also not for the picture

7. Streetart in Kiefernstrasse
Our next spot of instagram spots in Düsseldorf is Kiefernstrasse. Grafitti is part of the street scene in Düsseldorf. Kiefernstrasse is a street in a district that is located outside the city centre and is defined by graffiti. From colourful drawings to abstract forms, there is something for everyone.

8. The reflections on the Rhine of Königsallee, last but not least Instagram spots in Düsseldorf
The leading and luxurious street in Düsseldorf is without a doubt the Köningsallee, which is also located on the Rhein. This location can produce beautiful images with the reflections in the water.
